Dear Ms. Kalnow,
It was like Christmas in July! Thank you for your generous contribution of 28 Teddy Bears from the Stepping Stone Foundation.
Our nurses in the Pediatrics unit were so pleased to receive them. They immediately mentioned your previous gift of bunnies around Easter time.
Our young patients will cherish your gift.

And the patients, families, staff & Physicians
Dear Ms. Kalnow -
What a delightful gift! Our young patients will cherish the 21 teddy bears provided by the Stepping Stone Foundation. Thank you.
Each year, the Saint Francis Hospital Auxiliary sponsors the “Teddy Bear Tree” that is on display in our hospital lobby. More than 125 teddy bears are donated for the children served by our Saint Francis Community Health Center. On December 20, we’ll take the teddy bears to the Health Center in Rogers Park where Santa will present each child with a teddy bear and a winter hat and mittens. All of the Families served by the Health Center are low income families. It is a truly heartwarming event.
We appreciate your generosity in creating a special day for our young patients.
Sincerely,
Susan Ende

Dear Student Volunteers -
Once again we wish to thank you for the adorable Halloween plush animals. We have had so much fun with them. Each day we pile them on a cart and bring it to the new patient’s rooms. What a way for us to introduce ourselves and for them to start the day in the hospital. Your endeavors go a long way in helping hospitalization become a positive experience for children. Thanks again.
Yours truly,
