to Stepping Stone Foundation

The mission of the Stepping Stone Foundation is to enrich the lives of seriously ill and developmentally challenged children through the interaction with student volunteers who plan and provide educational and recreational activities and the distribution of Teddy Bears to participating hospitals and agencies.

Embrace a child and share a hug

Being confined to the hospital is never a pleasant situation for any child and even less so during the holidays, whether it be Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa.

Thanks to your support, for over seventeen years the Stepping Stone Foundation has been providing Teddy Bears to pediatric patients throughout the Chicagoland area. Although this program is ongoing throughout the year, to receive a Teddy Bear during the holiday season can provide a sense of warmth and security to a child during this time away from family and friends.
